There are a multitude of options for immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the area, from a 30-minute wander around our historic township, to a 45-minute boardwalk through a pristine lagoon at the edge of town to your choice of gorgeous hikes of varying lengths all less than an hour away. When you get back to Camp Glenorchy at night, your cosy room awaits, as does an all-new fully-equipped shared kitchen, a long-table dining room with a view of the iconic Mount Alfred and the glacier at Mount Earnslaw, and view verandahs to sit back and reflect on your day.
